Hindu fundamentalisms, hindu extremists these and similar many terms have lately become significant component of media and political jargons and easiest item to weave a TV program around having pseudosecularist and one or two people from the target organization. viz. BJP, VHP or Bajrang Dal. Then the game starts - The question is thrown at the representatives from the target organization and before they could complete half the sentence the self styled guardians of secularism jump in and start clamoring, the anchor who by now has holier than thou expression on her face looks amused on the tamasha. When any point like common civil code, religious conversion, Article 370, worldwide terrorism primarily by Islamic fundamentalists, continuous apeasement of minorities specially muslims is taken up, all hell breaks loose and the anchor jumps on to the secular bandwagon and starts lashing at the target, yes by now they have meticulously planted pepole in the audience joining in the fight, we the people feel like nincompoops, because the discussion didn't prove anything but to what level our polity has come down to, where a small group of people take the things at ransom because they can shout louder and simultaneously can successfully stop saner voices from being heard.
This behaviour of our own people is very dangerous for our nation, and has already started taking its toll. Beacuse if the Hindu majority commuinty is continued being trashed like this by our politicians and media alike, in the lure of so called vote bank or for some foreign appreciation or awards, the consequences could be very serious and dangerous for our country because fermentation of discontent always produces most maddening brew in the world, coming out from whose intoxication is almost impossible.
